QUEZON CITY, (PIA) — In an effort to address financial inclusion needs of persons with disabilities (PWDs), the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) in partnership with the National Council on Disability Affairs (NCDA) recently held a focus group discussion (FGD).
The discussion was aimed at gathering insights directly from the PWD sector to identify barriers and improve access to financial services.
Likewise, the discussion aligns with the Magna Carta for Persons with Disabilities that mandates the development of policies to promote the rights and welfare of persons with disabilities, including access to financial services. (JEG/PIA-NCR)
