MAMBAJAO, Camiguin (PIA) — Known as one of the grandest festivals in the country, the 45th Camiguin Lanzones Festival is set to take place from October 20 to 27.
The week-long celebration will showcase the island’s rich cultural heritage, vibrant traditions, and the abundant harvest of the Lanzones fruit, for which Camiguin is renowned.
As the countdown to the festival begins, Gov. Xavier Jesus D. Romualdo extends a warm invitation to join in the festivities and participate in the island’s unique culture and traditions.

“We are excited to welcome everyone to the 45th Lanzones Festival. This occasion represents our vibrant culture, sweet flavors, and warm hospitality, which define both our festival and our beloved province,” Romualdo said.
The provincial government has been working tirelessly to fulfill expectations, recognizing the festival’s potential to significantly boost the province’s economy and tourism profile.
According to Camiguin Provincial Tourism Officer Candice B. Dael, preparations have been underway since the first quarter of the year to guarantee a distinctive festival experience.
“The Lanzones Festival stands as one of the region’s most anticipated events, attracting visitors from all corners of the Philippines. Since January, we have been working and laying out preparations to make sure that all is set for a memorable and seamless celebration. Our goal is not only to showcase the culture and talents of the province but also to create lasting memories for everyone who joins,” Dael said.
The 45th Camiguin Lanzones Festival promises an array of activities and events, including street dancing and ground competitions, agro-industrial trade fairs, cultural presentations, and culinary showcases, among others.
