Inflation rates for furnishings, household equipment, routine maintenance, education services, restaurants and accommodation services, and financial services remained unchanged from March.
The decline in food inflation was led by a drop in rice prices, which fell by 7.6 percent. Other declines were seen in cereals and cereal products (5.9 percent) and fish and other seafood (2.5 percent).
