CAMIGUIN (PIA) — The Camiguin Water Company (CWC) has launched a social media campaign aimed at increasing transparency and customer engagement.

The campaign, featuring informative reels on CWC’s official Facebook page, will address key water-related issues and provide practical insights for consumers.

“At Camiguin Water, we believe that informed consumers make better decisions about their water usage,” said Jonathan Sarsonas, general manager of Camiguin Water Company. “This campaign is about more than just sharing information—it’s about empowering our customers with practical knowledge that can help them save water, manage their bills, and understand the quality of the water they receive.”

One focus of the campaign is water leaks, which can significantly affect water consumption. Consumers will learn how leaks beyond their meter impact monthly bills and how to check for leaks in their household plumbing. The campaign will also highlight how changes in water pressure can indicate potential leaks.

Another topic covered will be customer service and timely bill payments. CWC emphasizes that settling bills on time helps avoid penalties and service interruptions. Support is available through the customer service hotline and the official Facebook page.

To offer greater convenience, the campaign will introduce various payment options, including online platforms and mobile cashiers in different locations, making it easier for customers to pay bills without visiting the office.

“As part of our mission to make water services more efficient, we are providing multiple ways for customers to pay their bills hassle-free,” Sarsonas said. “We understand that convenience is important, and we want to make managing water bills as seamless as possible.”

The campaign will also address concerns about water quality, assuring consumers that CWC meets the Philippine National Standards for Drinking Water (PNSDW). Regular testing is also conducted to ensure water quality, and customers can inquire about their water supply.

“This campaign is part of our ongoing effort to build trust and strengthen communication with the community,” Sarsonas added. “We want to ensure that every household in Camiguin feels confident in the quality of their water and knows that CWC is here to support them every step of the way.”

CWC invites the public to follow its official Facebook page (@CamiguinWaterCompany) for updates. For inquiries, customers can contact the customer service hotline or message via Facebook.
