CAMIGUIN (PIA) — Camiguin Water Company (CWC) has taken significant strides in advancing water quality management through its participation in the ImagineH2O Water Innovation Showcase.
Engr. Daniel Estacio, representing CWC, co-presented with TracWater to highlight the successful outcomes of their pilot project in Camiguin, showcasing groundbreaking water treatment and monitoring technologies.
Estacio emphasized the benefits of the TracWater robot, a state-of-the-art innovation that provides 24-hour real-time water quality monitoring. This technology ensures that CWC maintains full compliance with the Philippine National Standards for Drinking Water (PNSDW) and optimizes water treatment operations, ensuring that the people of Camiguin receive the safest and cleanest water possible.
“The TracWater pilot has demonstrated how real-time monitoring can enhance water quality management and streamline our treatment processes,” Estacio stated. “We are excited to continue leveraging technology to provide reliable, safe water to all residents.”
During the event, the CWC team—including President Robert Umali, General Manager Jonathan Sarsonas, and Engr. James Enguito—met with various potential partners, exploring future collaborations that could further boost water projects in Camiguin. These discussions aim to enhance water quality management, integrating modern, innovative solutions into CWC’s ongoing efforts to improve water access and sustainability across the island.
Following the showcase, CWC hosted a follow-up meeting with TracWater and ImagineH2O at its Makati office to discuss the next steps for collaboration. This partnership marks a significant step toward modernizing water infrastructure in Camiguin and safeguarding public health through advanced technology.
