Capitol, foundation partner for additional housing units in Porac

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga (PIA) — The provincial government of Pampanga inked a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Bloomberry Cultural Foundation, Inc. for additional housing units.

These will benefit the victims of the 6.1 magnitude quake in Porac town on April 19, 2019.

Under the partnership, Bloomberry will finance the construction of housing units amounting to P90,750,000 while the provincial government donated a land in barangay Babo Pangulo where the houses will be built.

Each unit will be a two-storey duplex consisting of a kitchen, bedroom, living room, and bathroom.

During the MOA signing, Governor Dennis Pineda thanked Bloomberry Foundation for helping the provincial government in its recovery efforts in assisting the displaced Aeta communities.

To date, a total of 77 housing units have been allocated to affected families in Barangay Diaz. Among these, 37 were constructed by the provincial government, while the National Housing Authority funded the remaining units.

Meanwhile, the Provincial Board presented a resolution appreciating the grant given by Bloomberry Resorts Corporation for the construction of the OFW Hospital in Sindalan, City of San Fernando, and the soon-to-rise Aeta Housing Project in Porac town. (CLJD/MJSC-PIA 3)
