TRECE MARTIRES CITY, Cavite (PIA) – The Province of Cavite bags the Most Business-Friendly Local Government Unit (LGU) award in the provincial category during the 50th Philippine Business Conference and Expo held at the Marriott Grand Ballroom, Pasay City.
Organized by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI), the event emphasized the importance of strong partnerships between businesses and local governments by bringing together key players from the business sector, government leaders, and community advocates across the country.
Governor Athena Bryana Tolentino together with Vice Governor Shernan Jaro and Sixth District Board Member Kerby Salazar, accepted the award recognizing Cavite’s proactive efforts to make the province an ideal place for businesses of all sizes.
For the provincial government, the award not only celebrates Cavite’s support for local and international enterprises but also underscores its dedication to building a resilient economy.
“The province has embarked on ambitious infrastructure projects to support its rapidly growing economy. New road networks and advancements in digital infrastructure are helping Cavite stay connected and accessible,” the Cavite Provincial Information Office said in a statement.
Cavite’s recognition as the Most Business-Friendly LGU is one of the conference highlights, underscoring the province’s dedication to becoming a leading destination for business and innovation.
