DAVAO CITY (PIA) — The office of Davao Occidental Congresswoman Claude Bautista-Lim and Dumper PTDA Partylist jointly provided service vehicles for emergency and crisis purposes in said province.
Dumper PTDA Partylist Congresswoman Lim personally turned over on Monday, Sept. 18, one unit of service vehicle to the Crisis Intervention Unit of the Department of Social Welfare and Development of Davao Occidental.
In a social media post, Lim said that the “donation is a significant development as it will enhance the accessibility of DSWD’s services to these far-flung areas.”
She regarded the provision of the service vehicle as a practical solution to ensure that essential services reach those who need them most, which she said is a common challenge in remote areas, especially in Davao Occidental being known for its difficult terrain and remote communities.
The partylist and Cong. Lim also wanted to help DSWD save on transportation costs, which would allow the agency to allocate more resources directly to their programs and beneficiaries, she said.
“The service vehicle will enable DSWD staff to reach communities more efficiently. This means they can respond to requests, deliver aid, and provide essential services such as healthcare, education, and social assistance in a timelier manner,” she said.

Lim also emphasized that the provision of service vehicle underscores the commitment and showcases the importance of collaboration of Dumper Partylist, Cong. Lim and the DSWD to serving the people of Davao Occidental effectively.
Meanwhile, the municipal government of Sarangani is grateful for the donated ambulance vehicle from Cong. Lim and Dumper Partylist.
The new ambulance unit is considered vital in enhancing the LGU’s ability to respond to medical emergencies promptly and efficiently.
