LAGANGILANG, Abra (PIA) – Students and other stakeholders, especially from the far-flung municipalities in Abra, benefit from the offsite processing of apllications for the August 11, 2024 Civil Service Exam-Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) led by the Civil Service Commission Abra Field Office (CSCFO-Abra).
CSCFO-Abra Senior Human Resource Specialist May Bañez shared that the offsite processing of application aims to bring services closer to communities. She shared that the CSC Field Office Abra also offers assistance in using the CSC online system.
“Ongoing po ang filing ng application for the August 11, 2024 Civil Service Exam-Pen and Paper Test. Kami na po ang lumapit ngayon to cater the far-flung municipalities because we know na challenge din sa ibang stakeholders natin ang pumunta sa Bangued kasi mahal din ang pamasahe,” she explained.
Bañez added that the team also assists in signing up using the online system.
“May kahirapan kasi iyong system namin so may kasama kaming mga staff na pwedeng tumulong sa kanila sa paggawa ng kanilang mga accounts,” she said.
Bañez also explained that the CSE-PPT is now open to individuals aged 18 years-old and above regardless if he/she has already graduated from college or not.
“Wala na rin po yung requirement ng units na rin ngayon basta ‘yung age is 18 years old is pwede na pong kumuha ng professional or sub-proffesional examination,” she added.
First time taker Geneross Buentipo from Pattaoig, San Juan, Abra, shared how she can easily apply at the CSE-PPT offsite registration.
“Kayat ko nga i-apply ti knowledge ko as a fourth year student. Nu makapasaak ket mausar ko nu ag-applynak ti trabaho,” she shared.
As part of the government’s digitization efforts, applicants for the CSE-PPT are now required to register online to input their personal details.
“They should print their application form but we also have a printer with us just in case. Mag-ready din sila ng four pieces passport size photos with the name and signature. They should also have with them a valid ID with birthdate or pwede silang magdala ng PSA birth certificate,” she said.
Bañez also shared that the filing fee for the August 11, 2024 CSE-PPT is P500.00.
The offsite registration of the CSC Field Office Abra also visited the municipality of Manabo where applicants from nearby municipalities such as Bucay, Luba, and Tubo were covered.
As of writing, 600 slots out of the 2,200 allotted for the August 11, 2024 CSE-PPT for the province of Abra are still available .
The filing of application for the August 11 CSE-PPT is open from May 13-June 13, 2024. Interested applicants can register by signing up an account at ocseas.csc.gov.ph/rocar. (JDP/JJPM-PIA Abra)
