QUEZON CITY, (PIA) — The Civil Service Commission (CSC) National Capital Region announced that field offices in Manila will be closed on Jan. 9, 2025, in compliance with Proclamation No. 766, ‘Declaring Thursday, 09 January 2025, A Special (Non-Working) Day in the City of Manila.
The special non-working day is in line with the Traslacion of the image of the Nazareno from Quirino Grandstand back to Quiapo Church, which is expected to draw millions of devotees.
The following CSC field offices are closed on that day:
- CSC FO-BSP
- CSC FO-DPWH
- CSC FO-MANILA
- CSC FO-DOH
- CSC FO-OP
The CSC NCR advises individuals who have scheduled appointments with the said field offices on Jan. 9 will be rescheduled on a later date.
Affected individuals are further advised to check their email address provided in the CSC NCR Online Scheduling System for details of new schedule.
