ROXAS CITY, Capiz (PIA) — The Roxas Memorial Provincial Hospital (RMPH), under the Capiz Provincial Government, in partnership with Josmef Enterprises, has launched the new CT-Scan Imaging Service to boost health services in the province.
RMPH Chief of Hospital II Dr. Florencio Luching Jr. emphasized that the new CT-Scan will enable doctors and specialists to effectively diagnose and treat various diseases.
“With this CT-Scan, it will be a guiding tool to our doctors towards the most effective treatment for our patients,” Luching added.
He added that the CT-Scan will also address key challenges of the RMPH like transporting patients to other hospitals and the financial burden on patients.
According to Luching, the cost of the CT-Scan examinations at RMPH will be significantly lower compared to other private hospitals and institutions as he thanked the Provincial Government and the Josmef Enterprises for the free installation of the CT-Scan unit.
Josmef Enterprises Vice President for Admin and Finance Queenie Ajayi thanked the provincial government for collaborating with them to improve healthcare access in the province of Capiz.
“For us, this partnership goes beyond providing equipment, it signifies our ongoing commitment to support the dedicated healthcare professionals in the province of Capiz in creating a sustainable and high-quality healthcare environment for this community,” Ajayi added.
The CT-Scan machine operates daily from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., accommodating up to 20 patients per day.
It is open to both inpatients and outpatients ensuring wider access to advanced diagnostic services in the province. (AGP/PLF/PIA Capiz)
