ODIONGAN, Romblon (PIA) — The Department of Agriculture Mimaropa officially handed over various farming equipment, including a valuable farm tractor, to the Organic Farmer’s Producer and Processors Association of Odiongan (ORFPPASO), an umbrella association of farmers in Odiongan with numerous members.
The program is part of the High-Value Crops Development Program of the department.
According to Christian Mesuelo of DA Mimaropa, the equipment include a tool kit box, jack hose coupler, disc plow, rotavator, and tonner trailer, with a total value exceeding P1.5 million.
It can be recalled that last month, the DA also provided water equipment to two farmer organizations as part of the same program. (PIA Mimaropa-Romblon)
