MANILA — Bad weather, sickness, and even personal and family events won’t stop President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. from leading government services to reach and help ordinary Filipinos.
“Umulan, umaraw tuloy and serbisyo,” Agrarian Reform Secretary Conrado Estrella III said in describing the President.
Accompanying President Marcos during the distribution of Certificates of Condonation with Release of Mortgage (COCROMs) in Tarlac, Estrella underscored the President’s determination to face all challenges to serve the people, especially the less privileged.
It seems President Marcos is impervious to any situation, rain or shine, day and night, Estrella said in recalling an incident where the Chief Executive has to be advised to forego a visit for Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) in Mindanao because of bad weather.
Kahit po masama ang panahon, lumipad pa rin kami,” Estrella said, adding that he felt uneasy at that time over risky situation.
The President on Monday led the distribution of 4,663 COCROMs to 3,527 ARBs in Paniqui, Tarlac.
During the event, the President reiterated the administration’s unwavering commitment to ensuring that ARBs in the Philippines will be freed from their debts. (PND)
