LAGAWE, Ifugao (PIA) – – The Panubtuban Multi-purpose Cooperative (PMPC) in Asipulo town received various farm machineries and equipment (FMEs) and a livelihood project from the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR).
The FMEs worth P285,000.00 consisting of four units of rotavator, two units of power spray, and a unit of a mini thresher will help boost the agricultural productivity of PMPC members and other small farmers in the community.
The livelihood project in the form of table egg production is through the Sustainable Livelihood Support for Disaster Affected Areas (SLSDAA) of the agency. The project worth P159,00.000 included 1,006 heads of layer chicks, 12 sacks of layer pre-starter mash, and antibiotics/biologics, and others.
PMPC Manager Analyn Bulintao expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the DAR for its invaluable support. “We assure that the assistance will be utilized wisely to ensure its effectiveness in generating income for agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) and all cooperative members,” Bulintao said.
