The data on working children in the Philippines from 2021 to 2023 reveals that the majority are engaged to work 20 hours or less per week.
A child is considered working or economically active if the child had a job or business, or was engaged either as paid or unpaid in the family farm or business, at any time for at least one hour during the week prior to the survey. The reference range in this report for the estimate of working children is 5 to 17 years old.
