DAVAO CITY (PIA) – In upholding the rule of law, the police in Davao de Oro adhered to its mandates and stood their ground in taking part in bringing justice through the arrest of an elected official from Bukidnon.
Together with the Bukidnon Provincial Police Office, the Davao de Oro police apprehended Mayor Miguel Silva, Jr. of the municipality of Pangantucan, Bukidnon on February 2 in Compostela town, Davao de Oro.

DDOPPO Provincial Director Police Colonel Antonio Alberio Jr. congratulated the operatives demonstrating their commitment to “enforcing the law without fear or favor.”
The provincial director issued a firm warning to criminals that Davao de Oro is not a favorable hideout for them, as a culture of security is emerging in the communities, and the police enforcers will see to it that justice is served.
