QUEZON CITY (PIA) — The Department of Education (DepEd) has started the distribution of the P18,000 Service Recognition Incentive (SRI) to eligible public school teachers and other personnel today.
According to a DepEd memorandum dated December 15, schools division offices and other implementing units began processing payments on December 18.
The actual distribution is set to begin on December 19.
As per DepEd’s guidelines, teachers in remote areas may request an exception to the cash-only mode for the SRI distribution.
Their SRIs can then be credited to their payroll ATMs. (PIA-NCR)
