DHSUD MIMAROPA to work closely with private developers

CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro (PIA) — The Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) MIMAROPA is ready to work closely with housing developers to provide solutions for the housing backlogs in the region.

During the Kapihan sa Bagong Pilipinas on Tuesday, September 24, DHSUD MIMAROPA Regional Director Peter Daniel G. Fraginal reassured the stakeholders that they welcome more participation from private housing developers.

“Isa pong major partner po natin yung mga housing developers po. Na-orient na rin sila. Actually, nagkaroon na ng national summit orientation on the 4PH sa mga potential developers po. Mayroon po kaming accreditation and standards na requirements sa mga partner developers po, so nire-require po namin silang mag-submit ng company profile, SEC registered, so ayun po mayroon kaming mga specific requirements po,” he said.

DHSUD’s Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino Program (4PH) is aligned with the socioeconomic agenda of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.’s administration and his vision for organized and well-planned settlements in the country.

Fraginal said that aspiring housing developers can get in touch with the local government units and the DHSUD.

“Mas maganda nga po kung triple or quadruple contractors sila kasi ‘yun at least alam natin ‘yung experience nila and years of doing housing projects po. Pwede po silang makipag ugnayan sa aming departamento at sa local government unit po,” Fraginal said. (ALG/PIA MIMAROPA)
