BAGUIO CITY (PIA) – The Department of Information and Communications Technology-Cordillera (DICT-CAR) encourages the public to download and use the eGov PH Super App.
The eGov PH or e-Government Philippines is a mobile application that simplifies transactions between the government and citizens. This platform integrates the multi-sectoral government through a one-stop online system that will minimize economic cost for the citizens.
“We encourage everyone to download our eGov super app. This app is bringing government services right into our smart phones,” Engr. Ana Patricia Diso of DICT-CAR said.
Diso assured that using the app is secure. It uses multi-factor authentication to ensure the integrity and to eliminate fraud in service transactions.
“Ang ating eGov PH ay may multi-factor authentication. Mayroon po tayong email, OTP, and facial recognition and we have to follow that. Ang proteksyon po kasi ay nagsisimula talaga sa sarili natin, so we have to be aware how to be cyber-secure,” she stated.
In the app, users can access a wide range of government services, from applying for a passport or driver’s license to renewing vehicle registration or paying taxes. Users can also access news and updates on government initiatives as well as information on healthcare services and employment opportunities.
