ILIGAN CITY (PIA) — Gilunsad dinhi ang Digital Creatives Innovation Hub, ang pinakaunang government-run hub sa Pilipinas nga maghatag og suporta sa mga digital entrepreneurs, freelancers, ug creative professionals.
Ang hub usa ka proyekto nga gihimo sa kooperasyon sa lokal nga gobyerno sa Iligan ug sa Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) pinaagi sa Shared Service Facility (SSF) program. Ang pasilidad adungay mga cutting-edge technology sama sa HD video editing computers, Wacom Cintiq tablets, iPhones, GoPro cameras, Huawei Interactive Whiteboards, ug DJI drones.
Ang building gi-provide sa lokal nga kagamhanan, samtang ang kagamitan gi-supply sa DTI pinaagi sa SSF program niini aron matabangan ang digital creative sector sa Iligan.
Matod ni DTI Lanao del Norte Provincial Director Jane Marie Tabucan, ang hub maghatag ug oportunidad aron mapun-an ang kakulang sa mga kagamitan alang sa mga freelancers ug mga digital creatives sa siyudad.
“This will also serve as a co-working space for those in digital creativity, in particular. Stakeholders and partners can also have meet-ups here. The hub will be open 24 hours, just like a coffee shop,” matod niya.
Sumala ni Jhonny Paul Hui Lagura, City Consultant on Innovation Governance ug Head sa Center for Digital Iligan Innovation and Sustainability, aron magamit ang serbisyo sa hub, kinahanglan magparehistro ug mag-apil sa orientation.
“The hub’s objective is to support talent development for employment purposes, creative entrepreneurship, and development for investments,” sumala niya.
Ang paglunsad sa hub usa usab ka lakang aron matabangan ang Iligan nga mahimong kabahin sa UNESCO Creative Cities sa 2027, samtang nagsunod kini sa Creative Industry Development Act of 2022, nga nag-ila sa pagtubo sa creative economy sa nasud.
