QUEZON CITY (PIA) – The Department of the Interior and Local Government – National Capital Region (DILG-NCR), together with its attached agencies, Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP-NCR) and Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP-NCR) will answer questions surrounding public safety on Tuesday, July 30, in the 10th Kapihan sa Bagong Pilipinas media forum.
In its 10th week, the DILG-NCR will take center stage in the Kapihan sa Bagong Pilipinas to discuss the agency’s priority programs aimed at public safety.
DILG-NCR Regional Director Maria Lourdes L. Agustin, CESO III will lead the media forum, together with the BFP-NCR Regional Director Fire Chief Superintendent Nahum B. Tarroza, DSC, BJMP-NCR Assistant Regional Director for Administration – Jail Senior Superintendent Roger Antonio, and other officials of the agency.
During the forum, DILG-NCR will elaborate on the projects and plans of the department regarding public safety, especially the DILG Strategic Plan 2023-2028 and their U.N.I.T.E. Agenda.
DILG’s U.N.I.T.E. Agenda was the department’s response to President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ‘s call for the country and its citizens to work as one to overcome the numerous challenges ahead and for the development of the country.
