Diplahan’s year-end medical outreach boosts community healthcare

DIPLAHAN, Zamboanga Sibugay (PIA) – The municipality of Diplahan has recently organized its year-end medical outreach, setting the stage for the forthcoming celebration of the 44th Araw ng Diplahan on December 19.

“I am happy because there is a free ultrasound. The ultrasound location is far from our place, in Ipil. Thank you very much for this activity because it was able to help me and many other people as well,” said Marsepain Palis, a 28-year-old housewife and seven months pregnant, who utilized the free ultrasound service.

Participants from nearby towns who traveled for at least one to two hours took the chance to avail of different services such as ultrasound, dental services, circumcisions, and mental wellness during the event.
