MANDALUYONG CITY, (PIA) — The City Government of Mandaluyong was recently recognized by the Department of Finance (DOF) as one of the awardees for Top-Performing Provinces, Cities, and Municipalities in Strengthening Local Government Finance for Fiscal Years 2022 and 2023.
Finance Secretary Ralph Recto and Bureau of Local Government Finance Executive Director Consolacion Agcaoili, presented the recognitions to Mandaluyong City Mayor Ben Abalos, together with City Treasury Department Head Ma. Corazon De Guzman.
The city received the following recognitions:
Highest Local Sourced Revenue to Total Current Operating Income (among all cities in the country)
- Top 5 para sa FY 2022
- Top 4 (FY 2023)
Highest Total Current Operating Expenditure per Capita (among all cities in the country)
- Top 4 (FY 2022)
- Top 4 (FY 2023)
Likewise, Mandaluyong City placed seventh in the Highly Urbanized Cities, with a Year-on-Year Growth in Local Source Revenues for the Fiscal Year 2023. (JEG/PIA-NCR)
