Lahat po ng channels ginamit natin to publicize, newspaper and radio, in addition lahat ng social media pages natin.

Frenielynne Barroga of the BCS Group of Companies said during the orientation that they would like to understand the guidelines on the implementation of the wage orders as clearly as possible.

“Iyong mga visit ng DOLE on the compliances, they also consider the adjustments just like ngayon medyo nahuli iyong orientation so they would also be understanding so long as they will see that the adjustment will be incorporated doon sa sahod ng mga empleyado,” she said.

The new rate for all the workers or employees in the private sector in the region, which was effective beginning on November 6, was set to P435 daily for all non-agriculture establishments employing 10 or more employees.

Meanwhile, the daily rate for all non-agriculture establishments employing less than 10 employees and agriculture is P402.

According to DOLE, this was set after consultations, public hearings, and the review and evaluation of the existing socio-economic conditions in the Ilocos region. (JCR/AMB/ATV, PIA Ilocos Sur)
