CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro (PIA) — The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Oriental Mindoro Provincial Field Office has partnered with the Parole and Probation Administration (PPA)-Pinamalayan Oriental Mindoro Office to implement the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged (TUPAD) Workers Program for parolees and probationers.
A total of 59 parolees and probationers benefited from the program, which is part of DOLE’s commitment to support individuals who are preparing to reintegrate themselves into society.
Each participant received P5,925.00 for 15 days of community-based work, helping them rebuild their lives and regain a sense of purpose, a press release from DOLE MIMAROPA said.

Also, all beneficiaries have been enrolled in the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) for one year for their insurance coverage.
PPA coordinator Alexander Pareja expressed his gratitude for DOLE’s initiative, emphasizing the positive impact of the program on the beneficiaries.
(JJGS/PIA Oriental Mindoro)
