MALAYBALAY CITY (PIA) — The Department of Labor and Employment-Bukidnon Provincial Field Office (DOLE-BukPFO) recently turned over Integrated Livelihood starter kits worth P1,590,000 to various associations and individual beneficiaries in Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon.
The Association of Botika ng Barangay Operators received a P200,000 grant to enhance their Ginger Oil and Macapa Ointment production, benefiting 17 members.
The Minsuro Farmers Association also received P200,000 to support their Rice Trading Project, helping 24 members.
Also, the Northern Bukidnon Transport Service Cooperative received P200,000 to establish an Automotive Spare Parts Store, benefiting 62 members.
Twenty-five TESDA graduates received P20,000 each for their Service Electrical System and Organic Agricultural Production Projects, totaling P500,000.
The Service Quality Improvement Program (SQIP)-Tourism, benefiting 21 individuals, received kits worth between P15,000 and P30,000. They were granted a total of P350,000 for various projects, including the Souvenir Marketing Project, Eatery Project, Digital T-Shirt Printing & Souvenir Marketing Project, Food Peddling Project, and Native Chicken Production Project.
Additionally, four low-income earners each received P30,000 and were granted a total of P120,000 for the Rice Retailing Project, Ice Cream House Project, Food and Cosmetic Production and Marketing Project, and Dressed Chicken Business Project.
DOLE-X Bukidnon Provincial Field Office Chief Raul Valmores said the project, implemented in collaboration with Manolo Fortich’s Public Employment Service Office (PESO) and the accredited Valencia Rural Improvement Multi-Purpose Cooperative, aims to boost livelihoods and drive economic growth in the community.
