Dolores LGU expedites biz registration via iBPLS

BANGUED, Abra(PIA)– The local government unit of Dolores is now implementing the Integrated Business Permit and Licensing System (iBPLS).

This digitalized program intends to streamline the issuance of business permits and licenses among LGUs  is in compliance with Republic Act  11032 or Ease of Doing Business  law.

Dolores LGU Business Permit and Licensing Officer Melinda Guzman said that ever since they adopted this system last year, the processing of business permits has been eased.

“Mas mabilis ang processing through the iBPLS and most of all, wala nang errors since computerized na lahat ng computations hindi kagaya noon na manual,” Guzman said in an interview.

Dolores is the very first LGU to adopt this system in the entire province.

“It is not only beneficial to the BPL Office but also for business owners in Dolores because the system allows a faster transaction and releasing,” she added.

Through the iBPLS, business owners can simply apply and pay their dues online at PROD1.EBPLS.COM for the pre-processing of their permits. Once paid, the business owners can now submit the documentary requirements be it online or in person. They can also monitor the status of their registration .

Dolores Municipal Information Officer Jason Ryan Celeste said that the implementation of the iBPLS is a milestone in the municipality to further improve the development not only for the building applicants but  for  the whole community.

“Hindi na mahihirapan ang mga Dolorenians na maghahanap ng mga iba’t-ibang offices na kailangan para sa kanilang permit since may mga staff naman dito sa Municipal Hall ang Sanitary Office at BFP,” he said.

Celeste reported that they are now processing an average of 30 to 50 business permits daily with the help of the iBPLS . (JDP/CAGT – PIA CAR, Abra)
