QUEZON CITY, (PIA) — The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) – Quezon City 2nd DEO, recently completed and turned over a 2-storey multipurpose recreational facility for the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).
The recreational facility was successfully delivered to the Armed Forces of the Philippines Commissioned Officers Country (AFP COC) at Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo, Quezon City.
AFP Chief of Staff General Romeo S. Brawner led the acceptance of the newly-built recreational facility.
The 920 square meter building will serve as a clubhouse office, staff house for resting, relaxation, and recreation.
According to QC 2nd District Engineer Johnny L. Protesta, Jr., the completion of the project will not only benefit the members of the AFP, but also provide short-term lodging accommodation to its guests. (DPWH-NCR/PIA-NCR)
