SANTA MARIA, Bulacan (PIA) — Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) completed a multipurpose building at barangay Marungko in Angat, Bulacan.
The 59.48-square meter, two-story infrastructure will serve as a hub for delivering a range of essential social services to the community.
DPWH Bulacan 2nd District Engineer George Santos said the P7.8-million project stands as a testament to efficient governance and community-focused development, becoming a cornerstone of positive change in the agricultural barangay located by the Angat River.
It was designed to accommodate various activities and services that address the social needs of the residents, making it a project set to enhance the lives of the community.
“The initiative to construct this vital facility reflects a dedicated effort to allocate government resources to projects that directly benefit the populace,” Santos stressed.
The infrastructure was funded under the General Appropriations Act of 2023. (CLJD-PIA 3)
