BALER, Aurora (PIA) — Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) completed the renovation of a covered court in Baler, Aurora.
The P2.97-million project located in Sitio Castillo, barangay Sabang was funded by the 2023 national budget.
DPWH Aurora District Engineer Roderick Andal said the refurbished covered court Is now equipped with modern amenities such as an electronic shot clock and scoreboard.
“The improvements to the multipurpose facility have significantly enhanced the sporting experience for local residents, especially the youth, providing an upgraded space for basketball games and various community activities,” he furthered.
The project commenced last February 13, 2023, and completed ahead of schedule.
It showcases the commitment of the District Engineering Office in delivering quality infrastructure and improving sports facilities for the benefit of residents. (CLJD-PIA 3)
