QUEZON CITY, (PIA) — Aiming to support the growing number of students and enhance the school environment, the Department of Public Works and Highways – Malabon-Navotas District Engineering Office completed the rehabilitation and construction of school infrastructure facilities at Dagat–Dagatan Elementary School, Barangay NBBS Dagat-Dagatan in Navotas City.
According to DPWH NCR, the project included the roof extension of the existing building to create a safer, more functional space for school and community activities.
The rehabilitation works also included the upgrade of concrete pavement on the school grounds to address low elevation and prevent water pooling, providing a stable and safe surface for regular use.
Likewise, a drainage system was built to minimize flooding risks in the area, improving safety and accessibility during heavy rains.
With the completion of this infrastructure, students and teachers of the Dagat-Dagatan Elementary School can now benefit from a safer and more conducive space. (JEG/PIA-NCR)
