QUEZON CITY, (PIA) — Due to strong winds, and heavy rains brought by tropical storm ‘Kristine,’ the Department of Public Works and Highways National Capital Region (DPWH-NCR) deployed its quick response teams.
DPWH-NCR’s 24/7 quick response teams monitored road situations, assisted commuters on the ground, and cleared out obstructions, such as fallen trees, and debris which may cause hazards to motorists.
The teams likewise declogged drainages around Metro Manila to prevent flooding especially in low-lying areas. (JEG/PIA-NCR)
