CONCEPCION, Tarlac (PIA) — Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) paved the 594.88-lineal meter portion of Motrico Road in La Paz, Tarlac.
The P4.95-million project was implemented in two segments funded under the 2023 General Appropriations Act.
DPWH Tarlac 2nd District Engineer Edward Ricardo Ramos said the agency almost concreted the entire stretch of the local road.
“Only a small section of the road remains unpaved. With the roads we already concreted, inter-barangay connectivity in this area of La Paz has been significantly improved,” he added.
The road connects Motrico to other barangays as well as the town’s central market, schools and government agencies.
With its concreting, the movement of services and goods has become more efficient and faster. (CLJD-PIA 3)
