DPWH rehabs westbound area of C-5 extension

QUEZON CITY, (PIA) — A smoother and safer riding await motorists and commuters of Parañaque City as the Department of Public Works and Highways-Metro Manila 2nd District Engineering Office completed the rehabilitation works along the westbound road of C-5 extension.

According to the DPWH, the completion of the 1.9-kilometer project includes overlay of asphalt pavement, installation of bollards, and application of reflectorized pavement markings such as pedestrian lane, intersection box, and edge lines.

Other necessary inclusions were also rehabilitated that serve as guides for motorists, and pedestrians.

The DPWH also noted that the rehabilitation of the extension road also helps improve economic activities in the area. (JEG/PIA-NCR)
