DSWD provides livelihood aid to 3 CSOs in Ifugao town

LAGAWE, Ifugao (PIA) —  Three  accredited civil society organizations in Alfonso Lista town   are the recent recipients of the  Payapa at Masaganang Pamayanan – Sustainable Livelihood Program (PAMANA-SLP)  of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

The Nagasat Farmers Associationof Sta. Maria,  Little Tadian Community Farmers Association (LTCFA) and Nambasal Farmers Association (NFA) in barangay Kiling received P300,000.00 each worth of check for their livelihood activities.

The financial assistance aims to improve the socio-economic conditions of recipients while empowering them by enhancing their skills and capabilities.

The LTCFA and  NFA and will engage on gasoline vending while the Nagasat Farmers Association will venture  on selling frozen meat, fish and fried chicken.

Said associations satisfactorily met the requirements for a legitimate CSOs pursuant to Section 75 (Fund Transfer to CSOs) of the General Appropriation Act of 2024 and DSWD’s Guidelines in the accreditation of CSOs organized by the Sustainable Livelihood Program as beneficiaries using DSWD funds.
