DSWD7 to register 90k new 4Ps beneficiaries in CV

CEBU CITY, Cebu Feb. 9 (PIA) — The Department of Social Welfare and Development Region 7 (DSWD7) is targeting to register a total of 90,242 households listed under the “Listahanan” as new beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program, or 4Ps, in Central Visayas for 2023.

These new beneficiaries will replace those who will graduate from being 4Ps members.

Of the total number, Cebu Province has the most number of households with 40,817, followed by Negros Oriental with 31,625, Bohol with 16,971, and Siquijor with 829.

According to DSWD7, they have already conducted a pilot registration on Feb. 7.

The official and simultaneous registration of new 4Ps members will start on Feb. 15.

DSWD7 aims to finish the registration of all beneficiaries by March 10.

The agency encouraged those who are listed as potential beneficiaries to prepare the necessary documents to be presented during the validation community assembly.

These supporting documents include the birth certificates of children and parents, marriage contracts, baptismal certificates, and valid IDs.

“Amo lang giawhag ang mga potential beneficiary nga mo attend gyud ta kung kanus-a ang schedule kay dili nami magbalik-balik sa areas tungod sa kadako sa target (We encourage the potential beneficiaries to attend their respective schedules because we will not go back and forth in the area due to our huge target),” said Beneficiary Data and Management (BDM) Focal Person Maricor Rote during the Kapihan sa PIA program on Feb. 8 conducted by the Philippine Information Agency 7.

“Kumpletuhon pud natu daan atong mga documents before ta moadto sa community assembly, kay kung kulang atong supporting documents, di gihapon mo ma cater sa atong mga validators (They should also complete their documents before going to the community assembly, because if they do not have enough supporting documents, they will not be catered by our validators),” added Rote.
