BONTOC, Mountain Province (PIA) — With the government’s continuous support for families in need, 31 individuals who are beneficiaries of the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) recently graduated and passed their licensure examinations.
This was reported by Mountain Province 4Ps Focal Person Belia A. Onalan during the Pantawid Pamilya Provincial Advisory Council 2nd Semester Meeting on November 21, 2023, in Bontoc.
Among said professionals, 25 are licensed teachers, four are certified public accountants, and two are engineers.
Onalan also shared that 1,059 of the 7,260 household beneficiaries of the program have graduated because of their improved status.
A total of 1,345 also exited the program because of the households having no children aging from 0-18.
She also shared that there are 18 households that were removed due to misbehavior and one due to non-compliance.
With some beneficiaries in the province reaching Level 2 or subsistence which means they still need intervention, the DSWD will continue monitoring the status of these households. ( CVBT-PIA CAR, Mountain Province)
