CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY (PIA)–Rural Agro-enterprise Partnership for Inclusive Development (RAPID) and Growth project of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Region 10 hosted the 1st RAPID National and Regional Units’ General Assembly on December 4 -5, 2023 at N-Hotel, this city.
RAPID is a value-chain-based and market-driven business development initiative that aims to propel agriculture-based processing enterprises and entrepreneurial communities to become innovative, productive, and competitive to capacitate them in meeting the challenges of the global market.
The general assembly was part of the organizational culture development of the project.
The two-day assembly aims to enhance synergy and collaboration among DTI national offices and the RAPID Project’s coordination units, ensuring the effective implementation of project activities.
On the first day, participants engaged in learning sessions focusing on Transformative Leadership and Effective Communication and Collaboration, followed by a team-building activity.
On the second day, the team continued the team-building activities and incorporated additional inputs and activities.
The 1st RAPID National and Regional Units’ General Assembly was participated by the National Project Coordinating Office, personnel from the DTI-Financial Services, DTI-Resource Generation and Management Service, RAPID technical teams, and DTI personnel who are involved in the special project in Regions 8, 9, 10, 11, CARAGA, and BARMM.
