PASIG CITY, (PIA) — Good news! The Department of Trade and Industry National Capital Regional Office (DTI-NCR) and the City Government of Pasig recently signed a Memoranda of Agreement (MOA) to promote and support micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
DTI-NCRO Officer-in-Charge Regional Director Winston Singun and Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto, together with other officials, led the signing of the agreements for the institutionalization of the Negosyo Center (NC) and the establishment of the Shared Service Facility (SSF) on Chocolate Processing.
The agreements formalize and integrate a collaborative framework to support the growth and sustainability of MSMEs in Pasig City and in the National Capital Region.
Key initiatives obtained in the agreements include capacity-building training programs, improved access to financing, product development, market expansion, and the promotion of digitalization in enterprises, the DTI-NCRO added.
Likewise, the agreements mark the continued partnership and collaboration between the Pasig City Government and DTI-NCRO for the development of MSMEs as primary contributors to community development and sustainable economic growth. (JEG/PIA-NCR)
