DTI OccMin conducts price monitoring in preparation for All Saints’ Day

SAN JOSE, Occidental Mindoro (PIA) – The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Provincial Office recently conducted price and supply monitoring of ‘undas’-related commodities in preparation for All Saints’ Day.

In line with the DTI Nationwide Undas Bantay Presyo, the monitoring aims to ensure that prices of candles, bottled water, and other commodities such as flowers will be within their suggested retail prices (SRPs) to protect consumers from overpricing.

The DTI Provincial Office team visited nine (9) grocery stores and four (4) flower shops in the municipality of San Jose. According to Almira D. Barbosa of DTI, all of the visited stores were compliant with the set SRP for the monitored commodities.

She also assured that supplies for the said commodities are also stable in the municipality.
