DAGUPAN CITY (PIA) – The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) in Pangasinan has urged all consumers to shop early and avail of discounts at the Diskwento Caravan for Noche Buena products in various malls in Pangasinan.
DTI-Pangasinan Provincial Director Natalia Dalaten said that during the caravan, consumers can avail of discounts of at least 10% from November 16 until the first week of December which will be participated in by Magic Group of Companies and CSI stores, among others.
Dalaten said with the continuous inspection and monitoring being conducted by the department, consumers are assured that prices of Noche Buena products are within the prevailing suggested retail prices (SRP).
She added that the supply of Noche Buena products in the province would also remain sufficient for the consuming public.
“Bumili na sila ng paisa-isa hanggang makumpleto ang mga ihahanda sa Pasko hanggang Bagong Taon kasi kapag papalapit na ang holiday, padami ng padami ang mga bumibili at maaaring hindi na nila mapapansin ang expiration date ng produkto,” Dalaten advised.
She reminded all consumers to create a shopping list and refer to the SRP bulletin before visiting their preferred supermarket.
Dalaten reiterated that consumers should always exercise their right to choose and to keep an eye out for promotional items to ensure value for money.
Likewise, she reminded all retailers not to take advantage of the holiday season and to check if their Noche Buena products correspond to the SRP of DTI.
