SYUDAD SANG ILOILO (PIA) – Naglaum ang Iloilo provincial government nga makabati pa sang posible dugang nga development projects para sa probinsya sa tiun sang State of the Nation Address (SONA) ni Presidente Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. sang Hulyo 22.
Sa media conference sang Hulyo 10, ginpahayag ni Gov. Arthur Defensor Jr. nga magluwas sa mga nauna nga mga proyekto para sa probinsya, naglaum pa ini nga makasambit pa ang Presidente sang iban pa nga mga proyekto nga mahimo makabenepisyo sa mga Ilonggo, kag sa ekonomiya sang Iloilo kag bug-os nga Kabisay-an Nakatungdan.
“I don’t know, but I think there’s no need for the President to mention again some of the key projects for Iloilo that have been previously mentioned, like our rail (Panay Railways), the Iloilo-Capiz-Aklan Expressway (ICAEX), and our bridge (Panay-Guimaras-Negros Bridge). It would be better if we could hear about new development projects for Iloilo and the whole region. We want and hope to hear that,” pahayag ni Defensor.
Sa pagtalupangod, isa ang PGN bridge sa mga prayoridad nga proyekto sang administrasyon kung sa diin ang pagtukod sini ang natalana nga magsugod sa 2025 matapos ang ginalauman nga pagkumpleto sang detailed engineering design (DED) sini subong nga tuig, suno sa Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH)-6; samtang ang 210 kilometro nga ICAEX ang gina-review na sang DPWH central office bilang isa ka Public-Private Partnership (PPP) project.
Ginpasalamatan man sang gobernador ang administrasyon sa paghatag sang prayoridad sa Iloilo pinaagi sa paghatag sang mapinuslanon nga mga proyekto kag programa sa probinsya.
“We are always at the forefront of the programs and the priorities of the administration and we are happy and thankful for that. We are really looking forward to working more with the administration,” siling sang gobernador.
