eGov PH Super App: Skip the lines, access government services online

As economies advance, innovation and technology evolve alongside them, shaping a world of convenience and boundless possibilities.

The modern era allows people to accomplish tasks that were once unimaginable. Thanks to technological integration in daily life, individuals can now multitask, conduct video calls with distant contacts, and complete business transactions online.

Recognizing the need to align with rapid technological growth, the government is accelerating its digital transformation of public services.

The Department of Information and Communication Technology (DICT) has launched the eGov PH Super App, a unified online platform that consolidates multiple government services into a virtual one-stop shop.

People may now enjoy the convenience of doing business in just one click on mobiles and other gadgets.

DICT Regional Director June Vincent Manuel S. Gaudan stated that eGov PH Super App is people-centric and describes it as an all-in-one platform for transactions with national government agencies like Social Security System, Pag-IBIG Fund, PhilHealth, Government Service Insurance System, and the  Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA).

“Once registered and your account has been verified, users may already view their national ID on the app,” Gaudan said.

Gaudan adds that it is not merely about having a digital national ID, it offers means to transact with the government online.

The app provides numerous features, such as a valid digital ID, essential government transactions, travel declaration processes, e-travel services, e-payment options, and more.

eGov app features

Individuals aged 18 and above can register for the app. Verified accounts, authenticated through the user’s Philippine Identification System Number, will have full access to government services, ensuring transaction integrity and preventing fraud. Unverified accounts, however, will have limited functionality.

A proud Filipino invention

Gaudan emphasized that the eGov PH Super App is a product of Filipino ingenuity.

“DICT is the premier ICT department of the government and we are also doing in-house development so this is proudly made by Filipinos, and we didn’t hire any from the private sector and the likes,” Gaudan noted.

Adopting the platform

Gaudan further encouraged everyone to download and register in the eGov PH Super App because of its many benefits.

“I just like to encourage everyone to try it out, anyway it is for free and you have nothing to lose,” Gaudan said.

The eGov PH Super App serves as a virtual bridge between the Philippine Government and its citizens, demonstrating the endless possibilities that innovation and technology can bring to public service.

The application is available for download on the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. (CCMT/CGCC, PIA Region 1)
