After the ceremony, the Provincial Government handed out financial assistance totaling to P300,000 to the 17 Community-based Sustainable Tourism Organizations (CBSTOs) from the municipalities of Naujan, Pinamalayan, Gloria, Roxas, Mansalay, Bulalacao, and the City of Calapan.

As an encouragement after the impacts of the oil spill incident in the sector of tourism in Oriental Mindoro, Dolor relayed to the tourism stakeholders that a ship that has a machine capable of sipping the remaining oil in the bodies of water is on its way in the province. Although according to him, it will still take some 20 to 30 more days before traces of the contaminants will be totally sipped; so continuous assistance to the affected will be given utmost importance.
