OFW returnees from Israel receive immediate assistance from various government agencies, including comprehensive reintegration assistance from the DMW, NRCO, and OWWA; psychosocial evaluation and medical assistance from the DOH and DSWD; skills training vouchers from TESDA, and other forms of support from the DMW-OWWA Regional Offices of their respective provinces. The whole-of-government approach of providing immediate assistance to the OFW returnees is a major directive of the President to aid the OFWs affected by the escalating Israel-Hamas conflict. DMW Officer-in-Charge Hans Leo J. Cacdac also assures OFW returnees of all the necessary assistance, including sustained employment facilitation, and comprehensive reintegration support for the OFWs and their families.
