CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro (PIA) — The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) in the Mimaropa region recently completed the concreting of Barangay Napsan, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.
The concreting of the 714-meter farm-to-market road aims to support the local agriculture in the area by providing a safer and more reliable access road that will improve their capacity to trade and access markets efficiently.
This road will facilitate the transportation of agricultural products from farms to markets, ensuring that farmers have access to potential buyers and can sell their produce at fair prices.
According to DPWH, this completed project will guarantee the timely delivery of the residents’ farm products to public markets in the city.
“With the completed road project, local residents can also now experience a smoother travel experience that will contribute to the growth and development in the community,” said DPWH. (GATS/PIA MIMAROPA)
