Angara-Campita added that the launching served as the highlight of their celebration of the Philippine Heart Month (PHM), wherein Filipinos are urged to take good care of their hearts and learn how to lower their risk of acquiring cardiovascular ailments.
On the other hand, DOLE-5 Assistant Regional DirectorMarion S. Sevilla said maintaining good health and physical fitness was crucial for government workers if they want to continue providing their valued clients with high-quality services.
Meanwhile, a quick briefing on the significance of safety and appropriate gym etiquette when using the fitness floor was discussed after the launching. The program was wrapped up with a Zumba class that saw DOLE employees enjoying the high- and low-intensity dance moves.
