QUEZON CITY, (PIA) — In celebration of National Women’s Month this March, women will surely enjoy treats at the LRT-2.
According to the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW), free haircut awaits 30 women passengers at selected LRT Line 2 stations:
- March 12 – Antipolo Station
- March 19 – Araneta Center Cubao Station
- March 26 – Recto Station
Roses and gifts also await women passengers on March 5, at the Antipolo Station, Concourse level. On March 5 and 26, gifts would be given at selected LRT Line 2 stations.
Free train rides also await women passengers on International Women’s Day, March 8, in all LRTA Line 2 stations, from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Meanwhile, a priority lane for women and girls will be open at the National Museum of the Philippines’ Museum of Fine Arts, Anthropology, Natural History, and all Regional Component Museums on March 7, 14, 21, & 28.
A thanksgiving choral concert dubbed, “A hymn of gratitude to women’s strength, courage, and resilience will take place at the National Museum of Fine Arts on March 29, from 3:00PM to 5:00PM.
Entrance to the museum is free.
