Gingoog City Bazaar highlights biz start-ups

GINGOOG CITY (PIA)–The recently launched Christmas Bazaar 2023 features over 20 new vendors in Gingoog City offering various indigenous products.

Organized by the Vibrant Vibe Events (VVE) and Gingoog City Government, Mayor Erick Cañosa led the launch with hundreds of residents, and micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) business owners joined the December 9 kickoff.

(Thank God for blessing us with beautiful weather today. Our Christmas celebration includes the Christmas Bazaar, Cafe U-Night, and Christmas Icons at Rizal Park).

The bazaar showcases a diverse array of services from MSMEs, most being home-based new ventures featuring snack hubs, art and craft stores, fashion boutiques, pastry shops, coffee and tea stalls, local product collections, assorted delicacies, home supplies, and more.

The MSMEs provided a wide range of services in the bazaar. Most are home-based startups ranging from snack hubs, arts and crafts, fashion shops, pastries, coffee and tea carts, collections of local products, various delicacies, home supplies, and more.

Glazel Pett Espejon of VVE said the bazaar intends to bring holiday cheer to Gingoognons and visitors through the 23 stalls within Gingoog City Hall grounds.

She said the Christmas Bazaar 2023 marks the city’s first-ever event that pushes community togetherness as residents and tourists converge in the area to stroll, dine, and appreciate the homegrown products crafted with creativity and love for local produce.

The 23 booths featured in the bazaar are HydroLEAF at BP. E. Events, Bake My Day, Bingst Closet, Extract Brew, Qraft by Qwendys, E’s Goodies, Lareina Ph, 3M Shawarma Station, The Tasty Co. Café, CS Burger & Smoothie, Angel’s Lemon Squeeze, Dulce Cosita Cakes and Pastries Shop, Xugar Daddy, Fil-Ams, Rural Improvement Club Pasalubong Center (RIC), Maximos, Fit N Pink Wellness, Tyler’s Sweet Treat’s, Ziv’s Snack Hub, Gingoog Bay Area Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GBACCI), Print ta Bai, and Mile’s Stuffs.

Cañosa lauded all the stakeholders and sponsors by expressing his heartfelt gratitude for making the night’s Music and Lights Show possible.

The celebration, he said, received support from Governor Peter “Sr. Pedro” Unabia, Congressman Christian Unabia, Vice Mayor Thaddeus “Tadoy” Lugod, and city council members.

The mayor conveyed his gratefulness that despite all the challenges faced by the city in recent years, the residents and officials continue to stand united in celebrating the holiday season. (PIA-10/IJBD)
