CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro (PIA) — The municipal government of Gloria recently acquired a new garbage compactor that will serve as a great help for maintaining the cleanliness and garbage collection in the 27 barangays of the municipality.
According to Mayor German D. Rodegerio, this was funded by the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (MDRRMO).
Rodegerio said that through this, the community will ensure the regular collection of garbages— one of the many parameters in order to achieve the Seal of Good Local Governance Award which their municipality achieved thrice under his leadership.
Rodegerio also reminded the people about the proper segregation of garbages to help in maintaining the cleanliness of the municipality. (LTC/PIA MIMAROPA)
